Become a Plumber Apprentice. Meet the Basic Requirements

Most plumbing apprenticeships require you to:
✔ Be at least 18 years old (some programs accept 17-year-olds with parental consent)
✔ Have a high school diploma or GED
✔ Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
✔ Be physically capable of lifting heavy materials and working in various conditions
